Patricia Ridgely and Howard Storm

Patricia Ridgely and Howard Storm have discovered a meaningful way to give back to MPTF for its amazing work and for providing a home for so many of their friends. By making a legacy gift as part of their estate plan, this selfless couple hopes to ensure that MPTF will always be here for future generations.

Over the years, they were acquainted with MPTF, but it wasn’t until Patricia was instrumental in bringing a close friend to the retirement community that they saw firsthand the level of excellence at this almost 100-year-old organization. They visited often and saw how caring and compassionate the staff was to everyone and how the quality and length of life increased for so many.

Howard has been a comic, actor, director and producer of movies and television. He directed 59 episodes of "Mork & Mindy" with Robin Williams, as well as episodes of "Once Bitten," "Laverne & Shirley," "Valerie," "Best of the West" and other notable series.

Howard was also involved with Yarmy’s Army, a group of comedians who got together in later years to perform. He was instrumental in getting the group to entertain the MPTF residents.

In her early career in New York City, Patricia was a beauty and fashion editor for Brides Magazine. When she moved to Los Angeles, she served as an editor for the prestigious Town & Country magazine. Howard and Patricia have been happily married for eight years.

We thank Patricia and Howard for playing their part in helping MPTF create a safety net for industry members.
